Who are we?

My husband, Mike, and I have always done things backwards. We moved in together before we were engaged and started foster care classes before we got married. We were in the middle of remodeling the entire house for our foster care home study and potty training our dog, Bronx. It’s just how we work and it’s always worked well for us. We both work in the field of education and would consider ourselves well versed in typical middle school behaviors. However this experience of foster care has challenged us, forced us to think outside of the box, and allowed us to grow in directions we did not know were possible.
